I got this for my ball python for his enclosure in late October of 2020, one was shipped in a way that made it creased badly which my partner and I could not fix before attaching to the enclosure bottom. The last three months the heat pads have migrated and I went to check the stickiness to see if the adhesive was okay and they fell off completely. I’ve put them back as best I can hoping that they’ll stay put from the weight of the enclosure but this is really frustrating considering you’re not supposed to use them if the adhesive isn’t working.As far as heat, I use them with JumpStart thermostats and I had to set the mats quite high as well as heavily insulate my enclosure (40 gal) and it’s still not warm enough ambient for him from just those. But they do seem to create the right hot spot temperature on the bottom surface.
