Purchased one a little over a year ago. I don't use it regularly but wanted a rotating mat and thought this looked nice. The other day I noticed a roundish shaped hole near the center of the mat, about 1/4" big. Not sure how it happened. If it was bad cutting, I would imagine it would be more long strips peeling off. Regardless, I contacted the company through Amazon with all information regarding purchase as well as photos. Never heard a word back from the company. Save your money and purchase a quality item from a company that will stand behind their product.Edit - finally heard from the company and was told I should stock up on new blades and I should flip over the mat and use the other side. Since I replace my blade after every project, I find their comment a cop out. And I've used the same blades on my Olfa mat that has lasted well over ten years. Like I said, I'll never purchase this brand again and I'll be sure my quilting groups know of the low quality of this mat.
