Carpet was very nice and more plush than I expected. However, it did not have a hard backing and did not have any support over the cavities and pockets. We thought it would be able to replace the existing liner in the trunk but did not due to the lack of a hard support. Truth be told it was described as a carpet, but I assumed it could replace the existing liner.
