The mat's core has the ability to absorb up to 4 cups of liquid for every 288 square inches and remain absorbent even when frozen. It can survive temperatures as low as -50 degrees F and as high as 325 degrees F -- your mat will never crack or de-laminate. The edges are stitched for a clean finish.;
