It was a tough choice between Manduka's MatWare Mat Sleeve and their less expensive Mat Sak, but the Mat Sleeve won and I'm very pleased with this purchase -- it is the perfect companion to my new BlackMatPro.The Mat Sleeve is more like a piece of luggage than a typical yoga mat satchel. It is solidly built with a structurally defined tubular shape important for containing a 9 lb, 85" BlackMatPro. The MatSak looked a little flimsy to me and several reviewers complained about the zippers jamming.Finally, this mat bag is very expensive; so it should approach perfection and potential buyers have every right to hear a critique, however slight, before spending that much money:1. The bag color "Thunder" is not exactly as pictured. You must view it at Manduka's website. It is mostly dark grey with navy blue accents and trim. You will see all of the navy blue accents in Manduka's photo; the rest of the bag is dark grey. IMO the bag looks really good.2. The "Large" bag is not exactly 30" long. Tugging on both sides measures 29" leaving about 1.5" excess on each side of a 26" mat. The diameter is 6.25" as claimed. Bottom line is roll your mat tightly and work it into the bag. It doesn't drop-in and there's not much wiggle-room.3. A side handle would have been nice. The only way to carry it is with the shoulder strap.
