BLACKHAWK Stalker Drag Mat - Tactical Shooting Mat for Precision Shooting & Hunting - Perfect for Outdoor Range, Sniper Training & Field Use

I purchased this a while back and really like this bag. I was originally looking for a soft "drag bag". They can be expensive, and to be completely honest, who is ever going to drag a bag? I am not a fan of the heavy pelican style case either.This bag is well made. It securely holds 1 rifle with a strap around the pistol grip. I have carried (2) rifles in it, and attached a tripod on the outside of the bag, with no problems. I throw this bag in the back of the truck and go to the range. Then I open the case and use it as a shooting mat. I don't have to carry a case and a separate shooting mat.It has some loops on the outside for attachments. It has a pocket on the inside that I put my mil-dot master slide rule in, and it has elastic slots to hold a dozen rounds or so. I am not crazy about the shoulder strap so I removed it. The bag doesn't carry very well on your shoulder, but if you have to do some ladder climbing, the strap would do the job. Enjoy.very nice good construction only wish it had two straps instead of one but other than that very nice good layout comfy to lay on and good protection. very universal for all types of guns even ar platformsI can only give this bag four out of five simply because I have not taken it out for field testing yet. As for the rest of the features eg; balance, light weight, capacity ( M54 Carb. W/40mm scope ballistic book .) Molle comp. , overall GREAT lets just see how it will hold up in the field test! I shoot at an outdoor range and this thing acts as both a carrying case for my rifle, and as a shooting mat for comfort snapping in.I have an dpms 308lr with a small scope and it will not fit in the case, the gun is too big with the scope to fit properly. Also, the case is so long that the weapon only takes up 2/3 of the case so its lopsided when you try to carry it by the handles. The shoulder strap doesn't help since the case is so big it hits you in the back of the knees when you try to walk. Get a normal gun case for much cheaper and bring a rolled up mat to the range if that's what you need.Good product. Works well as a shooting mat. The pouches can interfere with shooting if right hand shot.my Savage model 10le fits nicely...swfa 16x42 ss...harris bipod...could use one or two more interior straps to secure the barrelI've had this bag for awhile and I wouldn't give it up for anything. It is very sturdy and well thought out in design. I found out about this bag from a couple co workers that had it and they only had good things to say about it.
